The people behind AB Publications

The Heart of AB Publications is Herman van Tuijl. From 1987 to 2018 he was a member of the Foundation for Higher Learning, an international spiritual school led by Imre Vallyon. Within this organization he is a student, a teacher, an artist and a musician. On his spiritual journey, Herman distilled his understanding of life into one universal formula, called the ‘Process of Creation’. It is based on the Kabbalah and it unites the knowledge of Eastern and Western religions. His inspiration to focus on these subjects comes out of his compassion for the suffering in the world and his view on the possibility to change this through acceptance, surrender and inner awakening.

From 2000 to 2011 Herman writes Oorsprong (Dutch), which describes the laws by which creation works on a large scale, how our consciousness operates on a small scale and how these two are interrelated. From 2011 to 2014 Herman translates Oorsprong into English and in February 2015 Origin was published.

The publications were made possible thanks to a team of people. First of all, there was the unconditional support of his wife Jenny, who shared his vision and gave time, space and energy. On the practical level, several people helped in the process of writing. Two have to be mentioned here: Thea Faber and Marco Raad. In the final phase Ellen Steevensz was a tireless help with her sharp eyes and mind. She went through the texts and improved them linguistically.

With the editing and language styling of Origin Herman was supported by Linda Sherwood (Canada) and Karen Green. Thanks to the editing of Karen Green Origin has become an improved version of Oorsprong.
